After you order the WatchPAT home sleep study, you will receive an email that contains a link to a sleep and health questionnaire that must be completed.
Once that has been completed, you will then be prompted to schedule a telemedicine consultation with a provider from our third-party network of board-certified sleep specialists.
A telemedicine consultation is required only in the following states and the District of Columbia, or if you plan to use insurance for durable medical equipment
- Arkansas
- Delaware
- Kansas
- Mississippi
- New Mexico
- Rhode Island
- West Virginia
- Washington D.C.
During the consultation, the provider will review the submitted sleep and health questionnaire. If appropriate, they will issue a prescription for a home sleep test.
Once the prescription is received, the home sleep study device will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days. At that time you will be provided with the tracking information for your order.
After you receive your home sleep test in the mail and complete your sleep test, the data from the device is sent to the provider who conducted your telemedicine consultation. The data will be reviewed and, if applicable, a prescription will be provided for sleep therapy equipment such as a CPAP machine.
We will email you as soon as your results are ready. The email will include a link to schedule a consultation with a member of our Sleep Care Advocate team to review your results with you and to go over sleep therapy equipment options, if applicable.
Once the consultation has been scheduled, a copy of your results will be sent to you prior to the consultation to prepare you for your conversation with our Sleep Care Advocates.
Please note: A mobile device and the WatchPAT app are required to complete your home sleep test. Instructions on how to download the app and verify device support will be provided once your order ships.
