Air should not be directed up into the eye area with a properly sized and fitted mask, so this might indicate a leak in the top area of your mask. You should take action if this occurs consistently, as chronically irritated eyes from exposure to air leak can develop sores.
To start, try gently tightening the top mask straps, taking care not to over-tighten. Then, evaluate whether or not the air leak is still present.
An air leak might also indicate there is a worn cushion on the mask that needs replacing. In some instances, using a Boomerang Gel Pad may block air leakage directed at the eyes if the leak is coming from the nasal bridge area.
