The WatchPAT home sleep study device is a single-use device, so it is designed for one night of use only, by one individual. The data collected is sent electronically to the physician at the end of the sleep session.
Experts recommend that home sleep apnea tests be taken only once. If the results are inconclusive, you may be instructed to either repeat the test or do an in-person sleep study at a sleep clinic to ensure accurate results.
