Per the developer of the WatchPAT One app, the notification permission request may be rejected without issue. However, all of the other permissions are required in order for the app to work properly. This includes the "All Files Permission." This permission allows the sleep data to be filed to the phone while the sleep study is in process to ensure data is not lost during communication to the portal where the physician views the data.
The “Location” permission is required to enable Bluetooth connectivity between the mobile device and the WatchPAT One device.
