If you received a prescription for a CPAP machine from a physician who is licensed in the United States, then you'll likely be able to use the prescription to purchase a CPAP machine. If the physician is not licensed in the U.S., then you'll most likely be required to have a sleep study performed again to receive a diagnosis and prescription that is valid in the U.S.
If you need to perform another sleep study, we offer an at-home sleep test that you can purchase through us here for $189. Purchase of the test includes the WatchPAT One home sleep test device, results of the home sleep test, a complimentary telemedicine consultation, and any applicable prescriptions, such as those for PAP therapy devices.
After purchasing the home sleep test and completing an online consultation, the WatchPAT One will be shipped to you to be used as soon as you are ready. The device comes with easy-to-use instructions, and you'll also have access to customer support to assist you in making sure the process goes smoothly. After conducting your test, the data will be sent to an independent physician group that will review the data, analyze your results, and write you any prescriptions, if applicable.
